This is the face of a good girl who is certain she's been good enough to get dinner 10 minutes early.

@peculiarityshop.bsky.social Any guesses about what the brownish red stone in this ring might be? The stamp says 10k, so the band is white gold. There's a coating or a thin layer of metal on the underside of the ring. It's one I inherited.

I just made a trio of necklaces for a friend and her kids.

Single strand necklace made of alternating orange crackle agate int two sizes and orange sea glass beads. It's strung on bead wire with a silver chain in the back. There are two silver circles where the beads join the chain. It's hanging on a white necklace display bust.

Teal/aqua and black beaded single strand necklace made of glass beads. The 10mm sphere black beads have a "aurora" effect that makes one spot on them glow in teal. The other beads are a mix of matte glass and crackle glass spheres and oval-shaped black beads. The necklace is hanging on a white jewelry display bust.

Silver letter beads spell out the word "Necklace." They're spaced with black seed beads, and all hung on a black leather cord. The necklace is hanging on a white jewelry display bust.

Multicolor druzy agate spheres shine with a rainbow effect, heavy on purple and brass colors. They're surrounded by purple glass melon and seed beads and antique-brass-colored bicorns and rondelles. They're hung on antique-brass colored ear wires. In this photo they're hanging against a white background.

Electroplated glass spheres show off a copper and purple crackle pattern. Dark and pale purple faceted beads are on top and bottom, with tiny antique copper balls at the bottom and tiny purple glass spheres at the top. The earrings hang from anti-copper-colored ear wires.

All the beads in these earrings color shift as they rotate and light hits them. The color scheme is called Autumn Metallics. The colors range from copper to purple to pink and include green and blue. From bottom to top, the shapes are tiny copper ball, Autumn Metallics disk, a rectangular nugget, a twisted ball, and a small faceted ball. They're made with antique-copper-colored ear wires.

I'm making kumquat marmalade! My first marmalade. My first canning adventure.

A large silver pot holds a cooked gel of kumquats and sugar. This is about half the batch. The other half is in the water bath in the tall pot behind it on the stove.

The same trans pride earrings with a quarter for scale. The drop on the earrings is about 1.5 inches, so they're longer than a quarter, but very thin. The whole pair weights 2 oz.

Drop/dangly earrings in black and red. Red faceted glass beads hang inside hematite squares. There are tiny faceted black beads at the top and the bottom, and they're hung on black ear wires. Both goth and geometric, and I think, gender neutral.

20 inch necklace. Dusty pink and purple beads hung on antique copper-colored chain. There is a dark purple heart at the center, surrounded by sunstone, freshwater pearl, and faceted glass beads. Each bead is hung directly from the chain, making them very tightly clustered. The top bead on each side is a light-purple glass heart.

The pendant part and a little bit of the chain on a 30in necklace. Three small pendants hang from a textured silver circle. The one on the left is a rainbow fluorite purple sphere on top of a rainbow fluorite green cube and a small green rainbow fluorite oval. The center pendant is a filagreed sliver, oval pillow. The pendant on the right is an egg-shaped purple rainbow fluorite bead.

First set of earrings for @romancingthevote.com are ready.

Beading supplies with 4 pairs of earrings started lying on white felt. You can see antique copper-colored head pins, then the 4 sets of small mostly purple beads on unbent wire. To the right of those are tiny class beads shaded from deep purple to light pink. A plastic box (like the ones for a week of meds) sits behind with more beads.

Ten pairs of finished earrings on white felt. They're dangley, on antique copper ear wires and antique copper head pins. The beads on the earrings are purple glass spheres with tiny glass faceted beads on either side. Those beads are dark metallic purple, pale pink and pale lavender.

Y'all! After not baking a bread product in decades, I made bagels! And they taste really good.

10 cinnamon and cranberry bagels on a parchment paper-covered baking sheet. They're a little past golden brown and somewhat misshapen, but they smell (and taste) really good.

I made the Ultimate Banana Bread from Cook's Essentials _The Science of Good Food_ cookbook. It's an involved recipe and uses 6 bananas, so I won't make it often, but it's really tasty and was worth the experiment.

Baking cookies! (It's amazing not having anhedonia.)

Oatmeal, cherry, dark chocolate, white chocolate cookies (Called Chocolate Coma Cookies). A dozen baked cookies cooling on a parchment paper-covered cookie sheet. A dozen more (minus the ones I ate) are sitting on a black wire rack, and the last dozen are still in the bowl, waiting to be scooped and baked. Not shown, the 3 dozen already packed up for a friend.

There's always that one nosy neighbor who has to watch everything that happens on their street.

My partner cleaned off the dining table and put all the ceramics on display. @hammerlyceramics.bsky.social (astronaut) @surlyamy.bsky.social (Xmas tree) and pumpkin by my mom in the 1970s or '80s some time.
