It’s been a month since I had surgery to realign two broken bones in my arm. I am the proud occupant of a metal plate and nine screws through my radius, and in six months I’ll return to 50% of the joint strength I had before my fall. But thankfully, we can still enjoy horsie time from the ground. 🥕

cw/ hospitalization & injury Every day I am grateful and proud that I wear a helmet while riding horses. I have a displaced fracture in my radius and a closed fracture in my ulna — but I’m okay, well-cared for, and scheduling surgery… … for after my birthday tomorrow. 😅
