I have played “Rafiki” in two different professional musicals - neither of which were The Lion King and one of which was The Book of Mormon (pictured). My dream is to one day play Rafiki for real real.

Shauntelle dressed as Mrs Brown in the 2019 Australian tour of Book of Mormon. They’re dressed in platforms covered in grass with a tiger towel as a loin cloth and brooms for a hat. It is reminiscent of Rafiki from the broadway show “The Lion King”.

I’m playing rogue trader and as much as some people really dislike autists compared to robots, god I feel seen in this dialogue. The “image” of robot (imo) is incorrect. The motivations and dialogue of robot is often, for me, correct.

Who do I know that works with leather? I’m on the hunt for a custom collar for Hero the schnauzer (not me - at least for now) and would rather check in with my creatives here before I do a general hunt. She can tug when she gets excited, so people with experience making pupper collars for now pls.

A little joy for the internet: Hero the #standardschnauzer had her birthday party at daycare today. They very aptly Hero themed it. They sent her home with the cake (which I am freezing some of and hope to share with the neighbour dogs). I am crying this is the best way to spend grown up money.

My #schnauzer is too smart. Fetch (in which Hero retrieves) is too easy and prone to human distraction. She prefers to have *me* retrieve by pushing the ball under the couch and whining at me until I take it out (note the broom handle on the floor near the couch - the cycle has already occurred).

Hero has linked that I use my phone to send a silent message to Liam asking him to feed her since he’s downstairs. If I pick up my phone, she becomes fascinated with the stairway… and has started whining then looking at my phone to put in her ‘order’. I can’t stand this #schnauzer sometimes 😂

I was talking to my therapist about my disdain for generated art, and to prove a point showed her things I’d drawn 5 years ago and most recently. I wouldn’t call myself talented. I understand lighting because I’m a theatre creator, but otherwise this is pure practice over time. I’m not special.

Last week on Dragonbreak: Our Khajiiti learned that if they can get back to the past, they might be able to alter the moons’ orbits. Then… The littlest pussy made her way into Crassius’ hole* - only to learn it wasn’t Crassius’ hole but a random half elf’s hole? Things are getting weird(er).

I’m not usually someone who dresses for Halloween. I am, however, someone who apparently loves matching their dog in clothing solidarity. Hero loves dressing up, and so every time there’s a theme day at puppy daycare, she steps up like the amazing #Standardschnauzer she is.
