So glad I discovered this movie, as it’s definitely a new favorite. The only reason I even found it was because I was digging through a pile of VHS tapes at a flea market and it caught my eye.
Okay, I think Cookie and I would get along pretty well. She’s just gotta have her Pops.
OMG Cookie’s bedroom is awesome. I aspire to have such a tastefully curated collection of totally random shit.
Lenore’s little corner dress shop and apartment above it are both super cute and full of texture. I miss the days when this much attention to detail went into movie sets.
Cookie’s jacket is pretty rad, like a wearable version of an iSpy book. How much random stuff can you find on it?
Always love spotting hot dog stands in movies. I could probably do a whole thread.
Super fun opening credits sequence on the NYC subway. I also had no idea Ricki Lake was in this!
"Hall and Catch Fire" (2014-2017 TV series) This superb glass block wall is the exact type of decor you'd expect to find in the apartment of charismatic, slick-talking business man Joe MacMillan, obsessed with pursuing the next big thing in computing. I feel anxiety every time he picks up that bat!
While I’m on this subject, can we give a shout-out to Cathy Mitchell’s impressive ability to manhandle multiple Snackmasters in spite of her long nails?
This is my favorite moment from the 1990 Snackmaster infomercial. I still think about the absurdity of triangle-shaped corn dogs sometimes when I’m up late, like right now.
My flea market purchase proves there is only one wolf inside me and she’s wearing leg warmers.
Give me all of your quarters. It’s an emergency. Source: www.reddit.com/r/TMNT/s/0oB...
