The Third Annual Sid Griffin Workshopalooza rolls on. We had a crack 🇮🇹 rhythm section today with Jon Luca on drums and Guido on bass so the students REALLY did sound like the Long Ryders. You talk about fun❗️Tomorrow 5pm local time the guys play a concert to the local public. 😳

The third full working day of the Third Annual Workshopalooza held by Yours Truly really was a total blast today. I wish everyone reading this could have been there. The students learned more Long Ryders songs & a Byrds cover. After a totally yummy dinner we had a 90 minute singsong. Life is good.

The THIRD Annual Workshopalooza is underway in Tuscany 🇮🇹 and already I am having a blast with my students! Tomorrow is Day One of my teaching these worthy guitarists Long Ryders songs. As well as how to stand onstage looking cool.😎

AllStars Gym on the Harrow Road this morning was just the tonic for a road weary musician. I made it through all two hours! Not bad for an old dude, eh?

The Long Ryders tour is over and I miss the guys already. But I cannot complain as my garden is in bloom as Mother Nature dazzles us yet again. (It is kinda Her way of rocking out.🎸 🎙️🥁)

The Long Ryders tour ended in Copenhagen at Loppen, one of our fave venues on earth. What a gig! And what tour. I thought it was the best tour we have ever but ever done…I refer to both our performances and the organizational skills of all at Otis Tours. Love to Diego, Fabio, and dear Claudia.

The Long Ryders played Södviks Gästgivaregård on the Swedish island of Oland tonight and it was 6 degrees Celsius outside. 🥶 Here we perform solos on our cover of Dylan’s Forever Young…which is found, by the by, on our new album High Noon Hymns. Sunday May 10 our tour ends in Copenhagen at Loppen.

The Long Ryders in Stockholm 🇸🇪 killed it and what a fun gig it was. Opening act Stupidity kicked ass as well and kept us on our collective toes. Only two gigs left and the tour is over. It has been a blast 💥 ❗️

The Long Ryders gig at Oslo’s Cafe MIR was a total blast tonight. The joint was crammed, we played well tho’ we are tired as can be, and we had the best night for merch if the entire tour. Tomorrow we drive six hours and a bit to Stockholm for a gig with our friends in the band Stupidity. 🤔

Tonight at Medley in Malmo, Sweden 🇸🇪 we Sold Out (the show…not our values) & played for an audience which included not only Swedes but some Danes, 6 guys from Finland, & some crazy dude from Catalina Island🏄💦. Off to Oslo for Thursday May 7 gig & May 9 Kalmar venue is now Södviks Gästgivaregård.

The Long Ryders had a tour highlight gig tonight at the Kilkenny Roots Festival. I cannot put into words how much fun it was. Many talented local and indeed at least one famous musician showed up to see us play too What a blast. And what I would give to go this for a living. 😞

A fine roots festival in Groningen, The Netherlands, and off to Ireland tomorrow for the fabulous Kilkenny Roots Festival. We play the Set Theatre there on Monday evening!

First Netherlands gig in a few years was totally ace with a brilliant crowd in Den Bosch. Glad our old friends, long ago nicknamed the Dutch Resistance, made it to see the Long Ryders perform. They have been supporting us since 1984/85❗️

I wish this were not the truth. Talk about a picture being worth a thousand words!

Tonight’s ended our Iberian Peninsula tour in Barcelona. I think Barcelona might be the best city on earth for us. Hard to say, London, Glasgow, and Stockholm quite good for us too but Barcelona is something else! Off to play in The Netherlands 🇳🇱 tomorrow. Please come see us, we rockin’ da joint!

A great and emotionally powerful night in Zaragozà which means only Barcelona is left before we head to The Netherlands 🇳🇱 for a couple of shows and then to the Kilkenny Festival in Ireland. 🇮🇪 Please come see us…after Ireland we hit Scandinavia and that is always but always a riot. 🎸🥁

What a night in Bilbao for the Long Ryders, wow😳. Still to go in Spain are Zaragozà and Barcelona. I am happier than a six year old at their 🎈birthday 🎉 party. (I should do this for a living…) 🎸
