In December 2015, I passed my handler tests at the service dog trainers and took home Reveille, whom I immediately renamed The Reverend. I told him I expected him to live to age 12, minimum. Today he fulfills that contract. 🎉 he has graciously agreed to sign on for another year. HBD, Revvie.
Lentils for dinner, photo version. I’m about to post a short video titled “The Lentil Wanter.”
Ope, I'm performing at Lush Lounge in Minneapolis on Saturday, August 1 -- Lyra and chair dance. The show is 6:30-8:30. Details to follow but you can mark your calendars now. I'll probably be leaving my clothes on for this one. I'll perform again later in August at Fly Freak Studio. details TBA.
I have photos saved on my phone of dogs I’ve met at bars. This is from July 2021.
I blocked this person instead of picking a fight but Coming here and telling me I am a coward. I and my neighbors risked prison, injury, and death as we fought the fascists earlier this year MOTHERFUCKER COME HERE AND SAY THAT TO MY FACE Okay thank you just needed to vent
What’s that? Oh, you must be new here. Yes, the class runs every morning, even on the weekends. And it’s mandatory. Hurry up, Lindsey, you don’t want to be late.
I’m at a Drinkin’ Spelling Bee with @beffgus.bsky.social and my Lyra friend Maddie. I got knocked out in round two with door jamb (I forgot the B), but that’s okay. The tamale lady was here.
I made peanut soup. I hope it goes without saying that I used 3x the peanut butter the recipe called for. A quarter cup? Do not insult me.
Chair dance class! Not everyone wishes to see my butt, and that is okay. Do not watch this if you do not wish to see my butt. P.s. all those bruises are from Lyra 🤷♀️
he needs to save it to his photos. On both my laptop and my phone, I save the most important images for ready access. for example
Weekly gratitude practice. What’s everyone grateful for? Revvie turns 12 next week. He’s slowing down but is still in terrific health. I am never not thinking about his mortality…but I am doing so with gratitude, not fear (mostly). Each day with my best guy is a gift.
No dates, no prospects, but the fashion must go on. I never ever ever wore revealing clothing when I was younger. Now I have muscles up show off. And I am 45. Middle age gives you do-not-give-a-fuck confidence.
His fleece was white as snow…but within him raged a torment—an obsession—he could not know peace and neither could she.
We’re still smoothing it out, but our performance piece is already really solid for a show that will be in late August. This is from the final segment.
I don’t study pole anymore but I still wear the shirt More at my spicy alt, @bluelegenddancer.bsky.social
