I am a space artist. I started my Baja Blast painting a couple months ago because I love Taco Bell and wanted to experiment with some new techniques/materials. Now this painting feels like another way to say fuck you to this anti-science regime, and I love that for me.
Space art that will unlock a core memory—glow stars on the ceiling! I recreated a slice of my childhood bedroom by sculpting a popcorn ceiling on canvas with handmade glowing stars. Even though it was an experiment with materials I’ve never used, I love how it turned out ⭐️
We Love You From The Moon 🌔 Final test print has arrived! This will be my print drop for August
I will be re-learning to crochet in January because I must make that blue chicken 🤩 stardewvalleybooks.com
Sorry for the lack of painting progress updates. I’ve been getting my ass kicked by my own body this past week (kinda rude). I’ve been practicing linocut bc it takes less energy. Please look at this pic of my dog being cute & feel free to drop some ideas for stamps I should carve!
space nerds 🤝 lego fans New Hubble Space Telescope set coming out next month!
I carved a stamp of my Sun balloon painting & also a lightning bug because I miss them 🥹
the beautiful painting going to its new home: 👸🏻 the box I construct to protect it: 👹
Wake up nerds, new JWST image! ✨ Centaurus A (NGC 5128) is an active galaxy 11 million light years away. Lurking at its center is a supermassive black hole consuming surrounding material and launching massive jets of energy.
Okay tbh I did not expect my first linocuts to look this good! Each one is hand drawn, carved, then stamped. I added paint for a splash of color. My space paintings are always detailed & complex, so it was fun to switch it up this week
LAST CALL! One day left to get a print of my Cat’s Paw Nebula painting before they’re gone ✨ stellerarts.com/pages/spectr...
I made this in honor of Neil the Seal’s shenanigans, which I just learned about today 😆
3 days left to grab Spectrum of Resolution before these prints are gone! Thanks to everyone who has ordered so far. Your art is starting to ship. Woooo! 🔭 stellerarts.com/pages/spectr...
4th ever linocut. Rocky from Project Hail Mary on a porcelain vase hahaha I love it. I only have a black stamp pad, but I’ll have to get a blue one!
I hope you still like Project Hail Mary and Artemis II art! Just picked up these paintings from being scanned & test printed 🤩
What do you get when science meets art? My painting of the Cat’s Paw Nebula in visible & infrared light! 5 days to left to grab a print ✨ stellerarts.com/pages/spectr...
Thank you to everyone who has gotten a print so far! It seems like doing the visible light in greyscale is a hit. I love the colors on this one too. I’ll have to do this again in one of my future pieces 🤩 stellerarts.com/pages/spectr...
The year is 1977. A lone Gravitron receives the Wow! signal. I was kinda keeping the idea behind this painting a secret because it’s not close to being finished yet, but the new Muse album came out today & is called the Wow! Signal. That’s fun!
hey will you tell me if these prints of my Cat’s Paw Nebula painting look nice bc my bangs are too long & I can’t see #SpaceArt stellerarts.com/pages/spectr...
More progress on the Gravitron! We’ve got some lights, a cotton candy stand, and the carnival game where I once won a giant white tiger plushie (throw a ball in a tilted bucket without it bouncing out)
Varnishing the Cat’s Paw Nebula 🐾 Treat yourself to some beautiful space art—prints & the original available tomorrow! stellerarts.com/pages/spectr... #SciArt
