House of Chicken & Waffles 105 Plainfield St, Providence The place is tiny, but the food is the real deal. I met one of the owners, Adonis, and he helped me through the menu. I’m starting basic and plan to get a cinnamon swirl waffle next time. Amazing.

This morning, I watched as the PVD Police Department evicted four people experiencing homelessness from an encampment on Eudora Street. With the help of advocates, the four people will be able to spend one night in a hotel room before making hard decisions about where to relocate on Saturday...
At some point a truck (you can see the tire print in the first picture) dumped a bunch of snow and ice chunks by my house, blocking the sidewalk I spent three days of my life keeping clear. Thanks Providence! BTW, my street is open people residents cleared it, not the city.
