BREAKING 🚨: We're outside the Foreign Office in Westminster to demand the UK Government reject Rosebank. Approving this enormous oil field would be morally indefensible, and could violate the UK’s legal obligations under international law.
After 50 years, we have burnt most of the UK’s gas reserves. EVEN IF new fields like Jackdaw and Rosebank are developed, we are set to become almost entirely reliant on gas imports by 2050.
Gentle reminder that more north sea drilling will do absolutely nothing to lower energy bills. Don't just trust our word - even the shadow energy secretary admitted it:

Yesterday we visited Westminster Hall for our Stop Rosebank Mass Lobby event! Thank you to all of our amazing supporters who attended from all across the UK. We met with an incredible 16 MPs and staffers, from across the political spectrum, encouraging them to oppose the Rosebank oil field.
