3rd July 2018 / 2026. 8 years since Mingus strolled through the front door I'd drunkenly failed to close with his sister. They were a few weeks old and covered in fleas. 8 years on, here we are. I miss Etta every day and long to know where she is but Mingus is the best friend a human could wish for.
We pressed 200 on red/black 'scorchmark' LP and each comes with a set of postcards, an inlay book of the original record of the 1577 attack and a full colour inlay. The first 80 copies come with a unique handwritten/numbered 'Sighting Card' detailing a genuine Shuck visitation over the ages.

My lad Mingus doesn't shed too much. Bin Juice (RIP) recarpeted the house in ginger fluff daily though. The place feels spotless without him.

We decide Drumm Chimp is dropped as we approach the summit of the hill that leads down to Stonehenge. Then 3.41 hits and a beat kicks in right as the henge appears in the darkness. "Euphoria" doesn't even cover it. I'd have signed off on pressing 50,000 copies on actual gold RIGHT THEN AND THERE
We dug it, but we knew Stonehenge was approaching in the dark and for this to truly be a masterpiece then DC will have composed the next song to perfectly soundtrack the glory of the nocturnal henge "Drone Mountain" started with meditative beatless murmuring... "He's fucked it", we commiserated.
