Rejected art style concept for an Advance Wars/Wargroove inspired game

You can see two patches of land separated with a river connected to the ocean, the ground is made like a chess board were there is a different color for each tile. You can also see a few different buildings like a radio tower and a missile silo, as well as a road with a bridge that conectes the two patches of land. There is also a couple of mountains, trees, terrain deformations and a small puddle of water.

I don't like birthdays, but this one was special. I had a complex year, lot's of good and bad things happening at once. I'm happy to have great friends around me that have supported me and helped me feel better about myself. I will not give up no matter how exhausted and painful each day can be.

I can't stop thinking about her

Mina (the hollower) is naked and floating in the air, her boobs are covered by the rope of her whip, acting as some kind of wrapping. She also haves from this pov a cross pendant on the left ear and a ring on her tail. The end of the whip (a spike ball) is on her right.

You can see Marmar (cyclops), Redo's OC, posing in a really fancy way with her legs crossed while looking at a ring in one hand and holding a fancy drink in the other. She haves a really nice red dress and a gold necklace.

On the top you can also see another attempt at drawing theit face were they are smiling and being really cute :)

I ended up changing a few things more like the eyes, I think having them bigger fits her way more. Also a rough whip attack sprite too for fun

Sprites of Mina (from Mina the Hollower) with a similar pose to ones you see in the Castlevania games with characters like Simon. You can see her both doing an idle pose and using her whip to attack on top of the other sprite as well while she is opening her mouth.

The style haves chibi proportions, as well as a similar color palette to the one you see on the pixel illustrations in game as well as a sporadic use of clusters.

An attempt to make Mina the Castlevania was made

Here is also some personal art of mine!

Image showcasing a few different mockups I've made a while ago, with different styles between one another. Some of them use big outlines and chibi proportions, while other have doubles or outlines in one part of the sprite itself (trying to do a mix of my own style and the one on Case Story).

You can also see quite a different range of art direction on each one of them. On the top right you can see one of them in 1bit, of a park with lots of trees and vegetation, the other of a small platformer with lots of vibrant colors featuring my sona.
On the top left you can see another one of an island made with a thick outline start, imitating a bit the aesthetics of vector art. There is a port and some small boats, with trees, rocks, and house around (even a little beach).
And at the bottom you can see two more, one of the Mario3Redraw collab, depicting the first hammer bro encounter in World 1, in this one Mario uses a whip similar to the Castlevania games, also the style is quite colorful and influenced by Nitrome. The last one is a demake with a style similar to a GameBoy game of the game Severed, showing a fight in the game.

You can see a stellar being with an office uniform, with a head that is constantly emitting void particles and a single eye with vibrant yellow and orange colors.
On their side, there is both a close up to their face and a small ghostly cat carrying their suitcase.

They have a yellow sundress and hat, you can see their legs (with sandals) crossed and also part of their chest (they also put fake boobs on).

They are posing in a very sassy way, having their legs crossed while one arm extend to you and the other is at the back of their head. They look at you with only one eye open too :)

I can't believe it's already been a year since I made this, time flies. Really feel like I haven't been able to top this Shovel Knight model. Doesn't help that aside of references for my job, I don't really do any kind of 3D art at all lol.

A stylized 3D lowpoly model I made trying to be as close to the modern pixelart renditions of Shovel Knight as possible! Using as a reference both SK Dig and Pocket Dungeon.

Happy Mario day everyone

A small diorama I made to celebrate Mario day last year, it's a mix of 2D pixelart sprites and lowpoly 3D.
The style is both inspired by Super Mario World and NSMB DS, you can see Mario jumping and destroying a block while a goomba is surprised.

A bunch of random stuff I've been drawing on my free time

At the bottom you can see some ramdom character sprites (my sona in the style of Ring Racers, a frog with a big mouth trying to eat a fly, Homer Simpson, Doomguy walking with a shotgun on their shoulder and Ana from Spelunky 2).

All of these are stylized somewhat differently, doing the outlines in different ways and using more or less saturated palettes depending on the artstyle.

Please remember that the kart is a sprite from the Ring Racers game and I did not make it, only used it as a base to work with!
