Trekkie, Brony, still trying to figure out that 3rd thing. Retweets do NOT equal endorsement. All opinions are my own.
I can’t get over what MAWS did with Hank Henshaw. Furthermore they also fixed the few narrative problems with The Death of Superman at the same time… It’s pure genius.
I wonder if @vincenttong.bsky.social would have fun playing Kai onboard the Enterprise… Of course if I had the money I would make this happen in a heartbeat.
If anyone could help me track down these Star Trek Kre-o figures I would be very grateful. Thank you.
I still love both of these pieces by @agnesgarbowska.bsky.social
Was going through my commissions of Trusty, and I found one I had forgotten about. Which is a shame because this piece by @briannacherry.bsky.social from 2023 is incredible. :D
What really caught my attention is they based the designs for the characters of all three Star Trek guest stars on the actor’s likenesses.
And before anyone says horror doesn’t belong in Star Trek: Witches, Vampires, Zombies, and Ghosts exist. Plus at the core of any competent horror story (whose goal isn’t to be a gore fest) is a mystery to be explored and solved.
Playing around with the Star Trek Title Card maker. Thinking about what could have been with some of my all time favorite TNG novels by my all time favorite Star Trek novelist.
The design is perfect, but the number of colors it can come in is limited. The traditional dark brown for the octagon cone is not one of them. But a pure black exocomp is possible to make and looks really cool. Also put together color schemes for the remaining octagon cones. None are possible.
What kills me is they started the direct by showing off two different Star Fox art styles from the Super Mario Galaxy Movie (both of which have resonated with audiences around the world).
And now Star Fox (2026). The other remake of the remake/reboot of the Original Star Fox.
Star Fox Zero (2016). The remake/reboot of the remake/reboot of the Original Star Fox.
Star Fox 64 3D (2011). The remake of the remake/reboot of the Original Star Fox.
Star Fox 64 (1997). The remake/reboot of the Original Star Fox.
“Glomgold! Jump to lightspeed, NOW!” “I canna do it, Captain! I need more power!!!”
There is no way this film isn't using Neo Metal Sonic and Metal Overlord as the big bads of the film.
Glad Fanhome didn’t screw up the Pathfinder Class. The fact it uses the same color pallet as their Enterprise F makes me content. cc: @stu1701.bsky.social
It also felt like such a waste to have Rachel Garrett and not have her be involved with the ship she would eventually command.
Why classify that mission if it wasn't a Section 31 operation that involved a former Terran Emperor? It would have been hysterical if Georgiou were the Enterprise-C's first captain… after she commandeered it right out of drydock for purposes less than noble.
What really ticks me off about the movie is that it was the perfect opportunity to show the first mission of the Enterprise-C. Especially since some of the publicity info leading up to Picard Season 3 clearly spelled out the Enterprise-C's first mission was classified.
