Also got into Black Flag Resynced. The original is one of my all-time favorite games, and boy HOWDY This remake did not disappoint! 😮💨 Don’t love the new AC engine. Absolutely HATE the menus. But everything else absolutely SLAPS! Which accounts for the 24 hrs played. 😅
Didn’t do much gaming in my recent absence, but I did manage to… 🍌🦍 Wrap up DK Bananza 🍌🦍 As I feared, it got stale down the stretch. But that last couple levels ROCKED! 🦌🧍Play thru Deer & Boy 🦌🧍 My GOD, what an experience! A masterful story. Exactly what I needed with all that’s been going on.

Absolutely. Fucking. Brilliant. A masterful and fitting conclusion that somehow elevates The Bear — already one of the most profoundly personal and authentic pieces of television ever made — into one of the most poignant, pointed, and defiantly hopeful works of our blackpill era.
Yup! Duskfade is Day One for me. Controls are floaty but not painfully so. Combat is fun, with a touch of challenge. Platforming and level design are solid. Visuals? KNOCKOUT. Plot hook? Intriguing. And it feels just like the 2000s action platformers that so clearly inspired it.
Okay, but we can all agree that it would be hilarious for Rockstar to change the GTA VI release date just… one more time. Right?

007 First Light had not one, not two, but THREE of the best performances of the year so far.
Just rolled credits on 007 First Light. I am sorry for EVER doubting this game! There’s some awkwardness. Spywork could be improved. But the story and characters, the improvisational combat system and Bond experience? They’re simply TOP-NOTCH! As it stands, this is my Game of the Year.
