To mark the 79th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen, a 41 Royal Gun Salute was today, Friday 17 July, fired in The Green Park 💥 The midday gun salute was undertaken by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery 🐴
Happy birthday to Her Majesty The Queen from all of us at The Royal Parks 🎉 We hope you have a wonderful day!
Make sure to heed the advice like the pelicans are doing 😀 As the pelican chicks start to explore St James's Park further, we'd ask that you give them some space and also keep dogs on a lead 🐕 📸 Creative Artworker, Hema
💥 To mark the birthday of Her Majesty The Queen, a 41 Royal Gun Salute will be fired at midday in The Green Park tomorrow, Thursday 17 July. ⛔ To ensure public safety, it will be necessary to close a number of footpaths & Constitution Hill cycle lane for a period of time either side of the salute.
Did you spot the Goodyear Blimp above the parks last week? It was the first time it had visited London since 2022 and could be seen over Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Greenwich Park. 📸 Senior Communications Officer, Zoë & Archaeologist, Andrew
We're delighted to share that Richmond Park, Bushy Park, Hyde Park, and The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill have all achieved the highest possible overall score in this year's Green Flag Award assessments 💚 A huge thank you & congratulations to all our colleagues whose hard work made this possible🌳
We are shocked & concerned by footage shared on social media showing a group of adults & young children crowding around deer in Richmond Park. This irresponsible & dangerous behaviour will cause the deer stress. Please keep yourself, your families & others safe by giving deer the space they need.
On this day in 2017, His Majesty The King (then His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales) officially launched The Royal Parks charity 🥳 We care for each of London's Royal Parks for everyone now and in the future to explore, value and enjoy. Find out more about our work, here ▶️ https://bit.ly/4dIvc0s

Today we remember the 52 people who lost their lives in the 7/7 attacks 21 years ago. A 7 July Memorial in Hyde Park honours all the victims. It was unveiled by Their Majesties The King and Queen, The then Prince of Wales and The then Duchess of Cornwall on this day in 2009.

Two of the St James's Park pelican chicks have this afternoon marked a momentous moment in their development by taking to the lake for the very first time 😍 This first short adventure was under the watchful eye of their parents . Wildlife Officer, Nick was on hand to capture the moment 📱
How can you not love the newest arrivals to St. James's Park 😍 Despite the pelican chicks growing really they remain highly vulnerable, and we are reminding visitors to give them space, avoid disturbing them and to continue to keep dogs on leads around the lakeside 🐕 Wildlife Officer, Sam 📸
