My work has been too much the last couple weeks with extra long days 🙁 I have not had time to enjoy your cats... Or mine Today, after I got home late again, this is how Daphne and Velma greeted me Both packed away - at the same time, 3 feet apart 😹 Is #MovingMonday a thing?
When Velma and Daphne first moved in with me, they hid inside the couch. For nearly 2 weeks, I never saw them. I knew at least one was alive because food was eaten and clumps were made. I bought a nanny cam. The first time I left for work after setting it up - both cats were out partying on camera
Velma likes to lay on the right end of the couch back, with just her head and sometimes paws on the blanket. She does not get fully on the blanket (older picture as example, of course she is not there right now 😹)
Velma loves playing Hide & Seek (Velma is not very good at hiding) You cannot hear her calling out "come find me"
Xena, go with Daphne on her magic carpet to get some tacos from @itsflanoy.bsky.social He got a new Taconator Truk and is delivering to @jenlou.bsky.social 's mountain
I work with an Office Supplies Klemptomaniac with bottomless pockets. We shake him down twice a week to get all the scissors, staplers and tools back from him. We have given up on ink pens. I buy bulk

This is my pride and joy photo. 4th row seats, but the stage guard wasn't pushing us back 😊 The rose was thrown up to Joe Perry, who walked away. Steven picked it up, I took the photo just before he bit the petals off and blew them into the air 🤘
I am always grateful that neither Velma or Daphne are bothered by outside noises. Only most extreme noise might get their attention to pause & decide if it is of concern before they go about their business (a house explosion was the last thing they took cover from) I wish every animal peace&comfort

I only have 2. I *try* to find both and tell each goodbye and hello whenever I come or go, but sometimes Daphne is under the couch or off hiding... I always hope she is voluntarily avoiding me bothering her with a hug. I think I have more separation anxiety than the cats do 😹
