Any guesses what is being transported on this barge?
Somehow the idea of Porco as a traditional model kit feels right, over finished figurine.
We do already have something close to that! The steam knights were one of Emersons personal projects before Tankhead, and if you comb trough the Tankhead book, you might have spotted some clues in there. emersontung.com/robots
Makes perfect sense to me! Art credit: @emersontung.bsky.social
Right, I've been thinking "I should go to Spiel some time" for a decade now, going to make a concerted effort to actually do so this year. Posting it out loud to pressure myself into it.
Though there are more technobable sounding crystal structures available IMHO.
Can't speak for normal, but here in Nijmegen our protestant big/Sint-Stevenskerk is part of the city wide "novio Magica" fantasy festival. I've plaid warhammer and DnD in the church, and there is a cosplay catwalk. Last year was started with a sermon by writer/catholic priest Roderick Vonhögen.
Depending on the island you can also have Dogger hill and Dogger island.
Carnevale is a good example of the system being designed with a very specific terrain, and they provide that for the starter set, as they should! The dropzone commander starter with the buildings is also good, but none of these have the wow factor and vertical play area of necromunda.
Some of these people could use a couple of laps trough the Netherlands, for personal development.
Imagine having beef with not being masculine with something from this guys art.
Can't go wrong with those classic covers though!
I get what you mean but I'm not sure I'm seeing it here. Its as good an explanation as any though.
It might help that I've drawn the same vehicle in roughly the same scale XD
You ever look at a product page and go "oh, i can tell what CAD software was used here" or that just me?
Got thoroughly trashed at "knee deep in hexes"
You might consider the 6mm vehicles I sculpted for Microworld ages back, they do quite nicely for Epic 40k as well. You might ask "but tim, would space rats look good in these tanks?" To which I would say "Fool! EVERYONE looks good in chubby tanks!" www.microworldgames.com/collections/...
I'd be curious to hear your take on how the blade bind rpg handles this, cause despite its very anime looks, its card based combat system involves a lot of the things that most rpgs lack. (the actual combat part of the game is also free in the demo pdf) www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/1...
Oh for sure. Just, I generally expect the groans at my not so subtle puns to be the result.
"Perform the ritual to claim this station" For a vampire that would be what, producing their actual birth certificate proving they are 120 years old and thus should be allowed in?
now this guy looks much better to me. More cohesive detailing and profile.
The main MS design doesn't do it for me, but that aside its the animation that really doesn't land. There are a bunch of very generic action movie shots that we've seen before (getting knocked back, jumping in with sword raised etc) that just don't feel like gundam at all.
Good to know that when people say "angelic" this may be what they mean.
