Enjoyed a good show at Sheffield's Crossed Wires Podcast Festival earlier this evening. I went to listen to Jonathan Sims and Alexander J Newell reflect on the 10th anniversary of the debut of The Magnus Archives, as well as delivering live performances of some of the podcasts episodes.

Back home after a full day of travelling yesterday. We took the scenic route to the airport through the Andalusian mountains, which helped ensure that final day still felt like part of the holiday. Back to reality now, although we have some great memories from the last 10 days!
We're spending the final full day of our holiday in Ronda, when the Andalusian landscape takes centre-stage. Such a beautiful place!
Seville is on another scale, with so much to see. The cathedral, La Giralda tower and the Alcazar of Seville are all incredible. Food was absolutely excellent here too!
Seville is such a large and busy city in comparison with Cordoba. We enjoyed a flamenco dance show last night and plan on exploring more of the city later today.
The absolute highlight from today was seeing the Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba. A religious site that changed hands between Christians and Muslims a number of times over the centuries, the architecture is an incredible fusion of both styles.
I think I'll need two posts tonight to do Cordoba justice. I've travelled to some amazing places over the years, but I think this city might be the most beautiful I've ever visited.
Different hotel as we continue our tour across southern Spain. Got a couple of free hours before we explore Cordoba, giving me chance to do some more work on The Silent Division.
A peaceful and, more importantly, air-conditioned spot to do some writing this afternoon.
I must have taken 100 photos when visiting the Alhambra Palace and its gardens in Granada yesterday. I can't think of many other places that are so striking and beautiful.
