These are both recent crafts. The choker, I wore to Develop: Brighton The longer necklace, I only finished today after salvaging some hard plastic ball toys that were strewn around the reuse room of the local tip. I gave them Trench colours and iconography

A selfie of myself wearing two necklaces around my neck. The shorter one is a choker, made with reinforced ladder stitched pony beads and hi vis pink construction cord. The pony beads themselves are in vertical rows of two, in a repeating pattern of pink, violet, and blue. I attached pink, purple, and blue buttons to the sides of the choker with jump rings. The centre of the choker has pink, purple, and blue translucent, iridescent letter charms hanging from it, spelling out the mononym I use, Troisnyx. To the sides of these are blue iridescent, translucent star beads that I let hang onto the construction with beading wire.

The bottom necklace, the longer one, is a chunky necklace that I made out of pony beads, star beads, buttons attached with jump rings, and other novelty beads I could find, all pink, purple, and blue, and threaded through hi vis pink construction cord. The centrepiece of the necklace is five basketball toys that I turned into beads and painted pink, violet, and blue, and drew graffiti themed around the fan Splatoon band Trench. Each of these balls is separated by a pink or purple star bead. The balls are in the following pattern: pink, violet, blue, violet, pink. I drew green graffiti on the pink balls, hi vis yellow graffiti on the violet balls, and hi vis orange graffiti on the blue ball in the centre

Snapshot I took of a mini rotator cuff that I mostly made with pony beads. The top portion, along with the spikes, are dark green with light green accents shaped like hearts, butterflies, or stars. The X'es in the middle are brown, almost grey. The rotator single is mostly made of green beads of a few different kinds. The centre of the rotator single has letter beads that read "Kersplooey". I based this cuff off of the Minecraft creeper

A freezer bag of badges with my branding on them. The colour scheme is pink, ultramarine violet, cyan, black, and white, and two out of the three designs of badges feature a drawing of my own likeness: tanned skin, short shoulder length hair, pink triangle makeup over my left eye, holding a snare drum in my hands. The third design is the Triangulum constellation, closest to Aries, my own star sign, and is fitting with the motif of threes in my name, Trois-nyx

Today in order to try and soothe myself I went charity shop clothes hunting in Lytham St Anne's and uh I found an S+ tier find????? again??? These hairclips omg

There are star barrettes in all six LGBTQ rainbow colours, a hairclip with two daisies on it, another opaque one with a rainbow on its edge, a few hair clips that have flowers of three different colours lined up horizontally, two hairclips that are entirely shaped like rainbows, one hairclip that has two watermelon slices lined up horizontally on it, and a shaker hairclip that is filled with glittery heart shaped confetti of different colours, and which has a lemon slice on its edge. There are also my rainbow beaded hairclips in shot, these ones trail to the base of my neck length hair, and they have letter charms which, when put together, read, "How beautiful you are." Also visible in shot is a rainbow statement necklace with a rainbow sun catcher shaped like a five pointed star for a pendant, a rainbow star glove that I fashioned out of pony beads, and some the letter charms of a ladder stitched choker I made. Now *this,* my friends, is a choker I absolutely tortured myself making this, again because the string isn't elastic I'd set out on my crafting journey to try and make my stage look distinctive. But after Tuesday's suspected racist event I must ask, "what even the fuck is the point"

Made these earrings with the leftover string I had from the cuff (I did not cut new) As well as beads that I had salvaged from a ladder cuff that I've now retired now that I've got the better looking one

A pair of kandi earrings I made with six colour rainbow pony beads, rainbow string that is not elastic, jump rings, and earring hooks. The beads are ladder stitched, and the extra length is criss-crossing outside the beads, before finally being tied with a bow near the top. The beads are arranged red at the bottom, followed by orange, yellow, green, blue, and finally purple at the top

This was my single most difficult cuff, made today. This string was marketed as elastic, but it fucking wasn't... so I decided to make some adjustments to the ladder cuff stitch so that I could work a clasp into it I had to wrestle the jump rings into this construction like I was wrestling a bear

Today's crafting project was a bit of foresight for Halloween: a longer kandi star glove that goes all the way to just before the elbow Saves me from getting too many Halloween themed beadstrings

Ring around the middle finger, attached to a larger kandi star that covers the palm, attached to a kandi single that goes around the wrist, attached to a small kandi star which is in turn attached to a chain of four more kandi stars. The last kandi star in this chain is then attached to a kandi single that is big enough to go around my elbow

Repurposed a pair of earrings I'd had for ages into these dangly hairclips The earrings have been superseded by a chunkier, bejewelled pair I found in a charity shop today. So now these are going on my hair instead. The more stars on my person, the better I suppose ⭐

Joined to it is a split ring, the kind you see on keychains, and then joined to that split ring is a strap like what you might see on a camera or a phone, with an orange cord and a black connecting bit. I threaded orange pony beads through the cord, in a sequence: translucent, opaque, translucent, opaque etc. Finally, connected to the black connecting bit is a small 2D kandi star that I made out of spare orange and yellow beads
