Super Secret Tip: I always start with Mild, and then I add curry powder to it at the end, to taste. Because let me tell you, I bought the Hot box one time and you absolutely cannot scale back that heat. 😱 That's coming from a Creole. Lol Buy Mild and a cheap curry powder from the spice aisle.
I boiled heirloom carrots for curry tonight, and the purple carrot completely took over. 😆 The water left behind is so purple, it looks like grape juice.
