Life is full of mysteries, Donna
In this age of sequels, remakes, reboots and requels, a movie like Leviticus is a marvel to behold. Dealing with issues of gay conversion therapy and inability to trust the people you love, Leviticus is inventive, genuinely upsetting and emotionally affecting. We need more horror like this.
TIL there's a Norwegian hard rock band called Audrey Horne and their debut album is titled No Hay Banda
I probably wouldn't have seen The Odyssey were it not for the losers from X, The Everything App (its owner, in particular) but I'm glad I did because it turned out to be my favorite Nolan film
Laura Dern and Nicole Kidman honoring Sam Neill got me feeling emotional 🥹💙
For once, the interwebs weren't lying: Widow's Bay is indeed a delight
On very rare occasions, I do get photos of myself on my travels just so that my mom wouldn't ask "And where are YOU in these photos??" So here's a few shots from my May trip to the South Coast of Iceland 🇮🇸
This is Reynisfjara Beach, also known as the most dangerous beach in the world. We were repeatedly warned not to get too close to the water because the waves will absolutely drag you away. But some still don't heed the warning and there's a word for them in Icelandic: idiots.
Time to finally post some videos from my trip to Iceland, an absolutely wondrous place with nature unlike anything I've ever seen. First up, one of the natural wonders of the world - the Blue Lagoon in Grindavik
Sam Neill going batshit crazy has to be one of the greatest genres of cinema
You're still remembered nonetheless. Happy 100th Harry Dean Stanton 🎂
Goodbye to the great Sam Neill who most will remember for Jurassic Park but who will always be Mark from Possession for me. Highly recommend the audiobook version of his memoir Did I Ever Tell You This? The man was a delight and an international treasure 🙌
I know you're fragile 'Cause you've been hurt, been let down You couldn't be yourself now You've been hurt before You've been hurt 💙
First time seeing Birth since its release and this is a genuine masterpiece and one of Kidman's best performances. Jonathan Glazer never misses 🙌
Just saw one of the most horrifying, harrowing, feel bad movies of all time - thanks for this one, @mikemuncer.bsky.social! 😵💫
35 years since the Season 2 finale of Twin Peaks and it still remains one of the most disturbing, mysterious, and uncompromising hours of television ever aired
Even after having seen it a million times, season 2 finale of Twin Peaks still fills me with so much anxiety, dread and horror that it's almost impossible to breathe - this may be my favorite TV episode of all time
9 years since the greatest show in television history first aired - Twin Peaks: The Return 🎂🥳
The Comeback made me laugh, made me cry, it was smart, astute, timely, simply a perfect show throughout its 3 seasons, 10/10, no notes
The truth is that even in the weakest episodes of Twin Peaks Season 2 (post killer reveal), there are some memorable moments that make them worth rewatching
