Also remembered this morning that the architect of the Marine Air Terminal, William Adams Delano, was FDR's cousin. His art deco terra cotta friezes that are around the outside of the building feature flying fish. They are fine fish indeed!
- because when I visited in late March, its only tenant was Spirit. The slots at LGA are too valuable for it to stay empty for long, and my guess is United is going to snap them up, though Frontier might be a possibility. But the building is so gorgeous, I hope whoever gets it treats it well.
