I don't want to over excite anyone but I ACTUALLY MADE IT OUT OF THE HOUSE to eat roast potatoes and smile at cows (and possibly also eat them). My first food in 10 days! I am almost human again.
Ooh what a beauty!!! And you definitely don't need to work on your camera skills! Try my seal photo from recent Cornwall trip for comparison! ❤️
Have a lovely time! It was so beautiful and did me the world of good. I thought of you when we stayed in West Looe. We had a balcony so I just enjoyed that and so failed yet again to get in Sea Salt! The Lizard was as stunning as ever.
All of our roses have flowered at once, in a beautiful tumble of yellows and pinks! Here are just a few of them, showing off for the camera 🌹
In other news, a swarm of bees decided to settle for lunch at an Italian cafe in Oxford today.
I'm not gonna lie, life's a struggle right now. I can now fit in clothes I've not worn for 30 years! Except they're too baggy. That's what losing 10kg in 3 months does. Still losing. So tired....... But the spring is gorgeous. Trying to keep my mood up.
A treatment side effect driving me nuts is the utterly foul taste in my mouth. Nothing tastes edible. Just as well I have no appetite. In other news, nature and Spring are doing me good 🌼 🐦
One of those rare feeling-a-bit-more-human days, so enjoyed some of Spring's loveliness ❤️ 🌼 Back to the hospital tomorrow.
Spring is so close! A beautiful day today, although the Thames is wild. And a plea to people driving through Woodstock - the ducks are back. Don't run them over!!!
I'm so far behind with the Oympics that I'm staying offline. It's a nuisance that I have to fit in work! Today I watched more curling, skeleton, cross country and the Super G. So behind...especially with the Freestyle Skiing, Snowboarding, speed & figure skating. But at least I fed llamas & alpacas.
In other news, I fed a llama today and tried to avoid alpaca head butts.
Will get lots of this done during the Winter Olympics! #Crossstitch update 🪡
A welcome, beautiful sight today! A sign that January might actually end one day and there will be Spring again. 🌼
Out for a birthday lunch - I'm many, many decades ancient - and Oxford was looking beautiful in the cold winter sun. Lovely lunch! And they gave me birthday profiteroles 😀🥂
Ooh, I collect this sort of decoration and I will seek that one out. I have a Roman solder in pride of place, with Hamlet, Jane Austen and Mr Darcy, but Henry VIII has to go at the back out of sight as he was a baddie. Bloody Mary is with him.
Last day off work until Christmas. Beautiful day. Lovely food at the Bull in Charlbury.
It was so wet yesterday that my one and only pair of shoes literally fell to pieces. A bit alarming! Luckily, I was able to buy more today. Beautiful seas, gardens, churches, and animals. And a young female greenfinch politely shared my lunch with me.
It's been a while but here is my latest Cross Stitch Update! Shoppers are done, bar the embroidery. Now on to the buildings...
