How long have the candidates running in #MI07 lived in the district they're running in? Let's review... I've spent my life in this community, fighting for my neighbors long before I decided to run for Congress. We deserve a real representative of Mid-Michigan. Not someone who just flew in from DC.

We raised more from Michigan donors than any candidate in #MI07 this quarter. And more from inside the district than both opponents combined in Q1.  We continue to have the most local support from current and former electeds and a volunteer base unmatched by our opponents. WE WILL WIN!

I had a wonderful conversation with @mahmoud-khalil.bsky.social yesterday. We spoke about our love of Michigan and his family here. He also shared lessons learned from his unjust detainment. In Congress, I’ll fight for just immigration policy, and against the cruel separation of families.

My opponents were picked by DC insiders to move to MI07 to run. I stepped up because this is my home and my neighbors deserve a real representative of Mid-Michigan in DC.  We deserve someone with deep community ties who can hold this seat down in Congress for years to come.

Both my primary opponents backed out of the only planned televised debate. #MI07 voters deserve a representative who will face voters in ways that GOP Rep. Barrett won't. So we held a town hall instead and over 130 voters showed up.

It's happening: Democratic Party insiders in DC and their dark money are trying to buy this race with just 3 weeks left. They're scared of a candidate who won't bow to corporate power, Big Tech, or the war lobby. #MI07 won't be bought by their lies or their money.

I want to address a comment of mine from two years ago that was reported today in the Huffington Post and has raised concern. My words are being taken out of context and weaponized by my political opponents and I want to set the record straight.

I'm grateful for the endorsement of a champion of democracy like @raskin.house.gov. We've seen the Trump administration violate our constitution. We need leaders in Congress ready to hold them accountable. WE WILL WIN.

We saved two seats for my opponents last night. They didn't show. I'll always show up. I'll always answer to the voters, not donors and consultants. I'm the only candidate who's been showing up for this district for years, and it's why we have the best shot to beat Barrett in November.

My democratic opponents refused to participate in the only televised debate scheduled for #MI07. In response, I held a Town Hall and invited Brink and Maasdam. Over 130 voters showed up to have their questions answered. As your Congressman, I will hold quarterly town halls open to all.

DC insiders who've barely stepped foot in Michigan love to say people like me can't win here.  But, yesterday's Data for Progress poll shows they're dead wrong. I'm the only Democrat on track to defeat GOP Rep. Tom Barrett because Independents are responding to my message.

DC insiders say a campaign like ours can't beat Republicans. They're wrong. In fact, they have politics completely backwards. And now we have the data that proves it.
