Ever spotted the little CC41 mark on vintage British clothing and wondered what it meant? 🇬🇧 It was introduced in 1941 as part of Britain's Utility Clothing Scheme during WWII, identifying garments that met strict government standards.

They're inspired by the famous CC41 utility clothing introduced during wartime Britain. Even with rationing, beautifully designed, practical lingerie was still being made, and we based our pattern on an original 1940s design.

One of the reasons we chose to launch Centennial in vintage peach is that it's a colour we've used throughout our collections for years. It also feels perfectly suited to the collection's inspiration: the lingerie and clever construction that helped create some of Marilyn's most memorable looks.
