Our wedding was steampunk themed and we made draperies with cogs and gears prints on them. This is one of them with 3 gears. We reused it as an external curtain against the heat wave

Today is my party I got up early, i have two breads (one sourdough, one yeast with raisins and cinnamon), green peppers stuffed with cottage cheese and feta, marinated mushrooms, spicy marinated baby corn. I will take some rest before the guests show up

Time for some birthday party color

I've got two types of hair dye in my hair. Burgundy for the front half and a colour called "bubblegum blue". These are new colours for me, so I am full of expectation

Review of dinner yesterday. First of all, we had fun and enjoyed our meal. Each dish had some wonderful elements and food lovers that we are, we got to enjoy them at our leisure. But we are also nitpicky and almost all dishes had elements we saw that could improve it (Descriptions in ALT)

A dish on a glass plate, very thinly shaved kohlrabi folded over with steak tartare in the middle, an acidic dressing and deep-fried capers

A plate that is the middle between a plate and a bowl.
It is filled with green stuff, sprinkled with green stuff brown things (macadamia nuts)
The major green stuff was a tasty (!!) foam beneath it potatoes, radishes and eel. Very nice combination

A piece of fish (corvana) on a red sauce (made of bell pepper) with draped thin slices of courgette.
This was by far the least impressive dish, they should have done more with the courgette.

#lino I didn't come round to print on t-shirt (as planned) but but I used my background!!!

The background I worked on last week, circles and swirls, light blue, with a frog (pictured from above) in green printed over it

I have the impression that that word handcart is a bit broader than the Dutch word for this type of cart, bolderkar This particular one is metal and they borrowed it to go camping at a metal festival:-)

A metal hand drawn cart, suitable for maybe 2 children but not comfortably, more for a tent and crate of beer. Oh it is green with quite big wheels

#GetTheFckOutside Not a walk but a swim. Very short one because I was afraid of the coming darkness. (And i don't have a platform at hand) ALT a secluded part of a river, very calm water. Pics contain water and a blue sky, the 4th also has some coots. I took it after the swim so it is darker
