🐍Grass snakes are the largest native snakes in Britain, recognisable by the pale belly & distinctive yellow & black collar behind the head. Harmless & semi-aquatic, commonly found near ponds & even in garden compost heaps. Our Head of Supporter Engagement Laurie spotted this beauty in her garden 🤩
