Good to meet Rositsa Karamfilova-Blagova, 🇧🇬 Bulgaria's new Minister of Environment and Water. Their increased battery storage capacity is truly impressive. We also discussed the review of the Emission Trading System.

Pleased to welcome ministers to Brussels for the 10th Ministerial on Climate Action with our co-conveners China and Canada. A decade after its launch to build momentum for the Paris Agreement, this forum remains vital for dialogue, multilateral cooperation, and climate progress.

Was a pleasure to meet with 15 CEOs of the EU Tech Alliance. We discussed the importance of the competitiveness of European tech and the taxation agenda. Europe is the home of clean tech.

Great to attend the opening of Thorizon test facility with @staskgg.bsky.social, Martijn van Gruijthuijsen and Peter Wennink. Small Modular Reactors have an important role to play in strengthening Europe’s competitiveness, energy security, and climate goals.

Today I hosted a high-level roundtable on climate resilience and defence and security with Commissioner Kubilius. Truly inspiring! We talked about: 🔹how climate change impacts geopolitics 🔹how it reshapes how you operate on the ground 🔹how we can reduce our dangerous dependence on fossil fuels

This is great news! Collectively, they are expected to replace more than 1.5 billion cubic metres of natural gas over the next five years — roughly equivalent to the annual gas consumption of 4 million EU households. A win for climate, competitiveness, and energy independence.

Very good to meet with 🇵🇹 Finance Minister Joaquim Miranda Sarmento. We had a very good conversation on the current energy crisis, the economic situation in the EU, competitiveness and tax-related matters.

Day 1 in 🇵🇹 - We kicked off the visit with a roundtable discussion on innovation with companies across sectors. It was an insightful exchange on how businesses are navigating the clean transition.

Took the opportunity to have several meetings with Ministers of finance who where in town for the ECOFIN @consilium.europa.eu 🇱🇺🇳🇱🇸🇪🇪🇪 We discussed a broad range of tax matters and the current geopolitical situation in relation to our economic security.
