The Amtrak app has been borderline unusable for years now. It takes 5 minutes of updates, logins, multi-factor authentication, etc every time you try to use it. Going to start printing out paper tickets until they make the app convenient again.

Very sad news, City-State, one of the OG #MBTpubroll stops, is closing in late July. We had so many good memories here over the years and rallied hard to support them for a second life after the brewery shuttered. Pub roll will be stopping by over the coming weeks to say our goodbyes. 🚲🍻😢
Arlington NIMBYs are trying to say this is a "historic district" so that they can block new housing and services for disabled people. Every time NIMBYs try something like this, we should eminent domain *their* property into affordable housing. Would solve a lot of problems.
I mean seriously look at the size of these peoples' estates/driveways and they'd still rather you die so they can store their personal property on the public thoroughfare 💀
The people who live in these giant mansions on Missouri Ave in DC are opposing a bike lane so that they can store their 4th car on the public street for free 🤔
The core problem with autonomous vehicles rn is that there's no point in debating them on their merits today bc, unless you were born yesterday, you know that Silicon Valley will enshitify them asap, making their merits today a moot point.
Once you realize that "perceptions of safety" are completely unhinged from reality for certain issues (e.g. transit, immigration, trans) you realize that these are propaganda battles not policy debates. Fighting a propaganda machine with a police tweak is a sucker's game.
