We took the dogs to the river yesterday, and Fig did his best otter impression! He also drank so much river water that he peed on me on the way home 🤦♀️
He was so happy he started screaming about it, which I worried was making people think we were trying to drown him. 😅 But he was having the time of his life
Fig is a water dog!! He's been to rivers, but this was his first time at the lake. He loved it so much. I had to drag him away when it was time to go 😭🐾

I'm so grateful that even at 10 years old, Rosie is still such a spry girl who indulges her little puppy brother. People ask us all the time what we do to keep her so young, and aside from really good food and lots of love and attention, I think having a little sibling keeping her active also helps!
It's Rosie's 10th birthday today!!! A decade is a big milestone for a Golden Girl like her. I love her so much. She is the sunshine to my days. (And Fig too)
Still a work in progress (we need to acquire a dining table/chairs and rearrange things a little more), but I'm really happy with the colors of the dining room! 💚💙💜

I've been agonizing over how to paint or wallpaper the dining room for ages. I was dead set on some kind of green. I never thought I'd be a chartreuse girlie, but I have to admit it really pops here! I like the kind of mid-century modern meets Nickelodeon vibe.
