This was one of those hikes that gave me a lot of self-reflection and clarity. Sometimes a hike is all I need to keep on keeping on 😌
6th Lake 11,264 ft above sea level is the highest elevation I’ve hiked to so far, and I was definitely feeling it. Damn pneumonia from last October really wrecked my lungs, but I’m not discouraged. I just need to get used to the thin air!
Hiking higher into the Sierras and I was really feeling that thin air- It’s the highest I’ve ever been above sea level so far 😵💫
3rd Lake, a marmot, and 5th Lake 5th lake was 10,000ft above sea level… and I still had more elevation to gain!
