In April, Yellowhammer Fund navigated the most clients since resuming abortion assistance back in March of last year. Despite the reversal of Roe, abortions have been going up nationally. This is why conservatives have been unrelenting in their attacks on abortion access.

Final week of the Bus Tour! This week we traveled to Enterprise, Evergreen, Opp, Atmore, Bay Minette, and Georgiana, bringing reproductive health resources directly to communities across Alabama. Thank you to every partner and community member who welcomed us.

Fund-a-thon happens every year, but this year feels particularly special. With the cost of living ever increasing people still rallied together to make abortion possible for those in the Deep South. With 509 total donors, 340 of which were new, we were able to exceed our $50,000 goal!

Why does reproductive justice belong at Pride?  At Central Alabama Pride, we asked attendees why organizations like Yellowhammer Fund matter in LGBTQ+ spaces. Their answers reminded us that healthcare, bodily autonomy, and community are all connected.
