I got a ticket for KyoMAF, Kyoto's anime convention! I've never been - I've always had to leave Japan just before the date. I'm excited - I love conventions, and I've never been to any Japanese convention, so I'm curious about the atmosphere and the exhibitors.

This is a topic a lot of us know nothing about, I reckon, and as someone who is neurodivergent, it made me a bit uncomfortable? How much of this I could empathise with. I'm not a sociopath though, the book taught me that, too.
Feels weird to say I got really into geo economics due to the Iran war, but like the pandemic, thus event taught me I know nothing about how the world works. This book talks a lot about the resources, geography and relationships of different countries. Borders are weird!

If I could recommend you one anime this season, how about Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia? The art style is special, the music is beautiful, and the Mongolian setting is something truly special for anime. I'm interested to see where the story about "the power of knowledge" goes.
I really like the first visual for the Green Yuri anime! It was a series I only found the manga because someone posted an animated snippet from the audio drama, and it's become one of my favourites. For once, I've entered the fandom early😄

Spent more than 5 mins in Amsterdam for once (read: I was there for 8 hours) and... it's so green? There are ppl who can step into the water from their balcony door? They may be rich ppl, but I was charmed and a little envious nonetheless. Amsterdam looks like good living.
