How it works

The AT Protocol is an open network: whoever posts there publishes into a system explicitly built for any application to read and display. That is what DIRTY does — we show public profiles and posts, sort them by topic, and filter out spam and AI images.

What we are not

• Not a host. Images and videos of crawled creators live on their own servers and are served from there. If someone deletes a post, it disappears here too.
• Not a paid platform. DIRTY sells no content, pays out no creators and takes no commissions. Operations are funded by advertising.
• No business relationship. There is no connection to the creators shown — they post on Bluesky, not for us.

The source is always visible

Every crawled profile carries a Bluesky button to the original, every aggregated post a link to the original entry. Handles stay complete, exactly as they read in the network.

Your own account

Anyone registering directly with DIRTY gets a real AT Protocol identity on our own server. Those posts belong to the user, are visible across the whole network — and travel with them should they ever leave DIRTY.
