Received feedback on the panel editor in Tobi that the placement section was confusing, so I made a change to where the placement is now all tapped based. You tap on the slots it takes up. I like the UX, but I'm not sure if the half slots read as half slots #shipaton #buildinpublic #iosApp

PostHog coming in clutch with the auto capture Rageclick event. Starting to see them more in some key areas which means I need to go in and fix those.

I like that Xcode 27 doesn't block you when symbols need to be copied.

Map first layout shipping in Camp Notes soon. I think this will help users actually find campgrounds in their areas. I'm not quite happy with the My Visits tab anymore though.. I'm rolling this out as an A/B test to see if there's more retention in the app as my active users are not great

It's been about 10 days since I configured my experiment correct for the onboarding flow in PostHog. Still not enough users to really make a decision, so it'll keep running. I think there is still more upselling of an account & Camp Notes in general that I can do in the onboarding.

I went with the map in the background. I like it a bit more than the list. Adding it to all tabs also makes it feel better than what I was imagining in the original design. #buildinpublic #camping #iosapp

Redesigning the Campgrounds screen in Camp Notes. Not too sold on either, but I think that both are an improvement to today's screen. The point of the list is to allow users to find campgrounds around them or to search for campgrounds easily. Which one do you think you'd like more?

Finally figured out what was wrong in my onboarding AB test in Posthog. I was using semvar on the build number. I switched to the version number and now it's properly running. About 1 month wasted but at least it's caught now.

Not sure how I feel about the blurred icon in the background... I'm leaving it for now as it's easy to remove. It will show up in a category detail view so the user only ever sees one at a time. I don't think it's as overwhelming as it looks here. #buildinpublic

These PR's are so nice to see. Automatic dev updates based on what I've actually merged to JABA. Now to adjust the output and prompt a bit before publishing.

Every other Thursday a GitHub Actions workflow kicks off. It collects merged PRs and commits from all three JABA repos and strips out anything that isn't a user-facing change. That clean list goes to Claude, which turns it into a 300-600 word post written in JABA's voice. Not just a list of changes
