Discovered something called the Wikipedia sandbox and did a thing from boredom.
Ive become obsessed with Burlington Northern since I downloaded Marias Pass Approach on Trainz 2019. Glad I got to enjoy a childhood TRS2006 route again.
Some photos of some trains. Honestly the first one is my favorite.
Idk how to reach to you. But its on FA messages and Tumblr. Ive made fanart for you @stedilnik.bsky.social I hope you like it. Sorry if its a bit rough as I am still self learning stuff.
No although I was thinking of going there. It was Upper Neatham Mill Ln.
I wish one day that Alton, Hampshire and it's surrounding villages gets better bus connections like how it did many many years ago. Alton is so crammed with cars at rush hour it's unreal... Selbourne almost got frequent buses too but it sadly never happened. @anthonyf2024.bsky.social Thoughts?
Gordon meets a local 4VEP at Alton sometime in the 1990s. Gordon (4VEP): "Oh my god we have the same name, I can't believe it, we actually have the same name, my name is Gordon too, oh my god I heard you are famous, wow, yay!" Gordon (LNER A1): "Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!"
A photo of an Stagecoach South ALX400 Trident 18520 from a few days ago but I've been meaning to post it here. @anthonyf2024.bsky.social & @teamgreen70020.bsky.social approve?
Retirement During the late 1960s, BR North Western Region 32105 "Thomas" awaits the final push-pull service to Ffarquhar. A Class 117, the trains set to replace him watches in joy. For this occasion, he was repainted back into NWR Blue.
LBSC E2 105 "Thomas" and SECR H Class 263 leading a railtour from Chelford, Hampshire to Bentley, Hampshire. Taken sometime in the 1990s.
Some trains I've seen today. Also includes the Britannic Explorer I came by on accident. (See the second thread)
Some photos of some buses I seen or went on today. I wonder if @anthonyf2024.bsky.social and @teamgreen70020.bsky.social will approve of the last one?
Found an old photo of mine, involving ALX400 18521 in her old special livery at Winchester Bus Station back in 2019. I wonder if @anthonyf2024.bsky.social & @teamgreen70020.bsky.social will approve of this?
Fun fact, there is a variant of this locomotive that looks like SD70M.
Because of said track circuit failure. Platforms 2 and 3 have swapped at Aldershot. So Alton bound trains can only use Platform 3. So you can/did get 444s on Platfom 3. I think its the first time it happened. My photos here.
[NOT MY PHOTOS] The LSL Chairman's Train MK2 observation coach looks like a JNR 14 Series sleeping coach. I like this.
