Just finished BATMAN: DARK PATTERNS. Fantastic. A street-level anthology that plays like a twisted noir thriller in the same vein as SE7EN. Looking forward to any possible deluxe/hardcover editions.

Caught up with A CHRISTMAS STORY CHRISTMAS (2022). Obviously not as good as the original, but it was more charming than I anticipated. There are few “perfect” pairings between actor and character. Peter Billingsley and Ralphie is one of them. It’s like he was born to play that part #Filmsky

Rewatching SPEED (a perfect move, btw), and was thinking “Wow, they really made it look like Keanu was in the middle of the action.” Come to find out Keanu did the majority of his own stunts, including the shot of him jumping into the bus #Filmsky
Rewatched the EYE OF THE BEHOLDER episode of TWILIGHT ZONE. Just fantastic. Incredible use of light/shadow, camera angle, and composition. And of course the twist is an all timer. Maybe one of the greatest single episodes of any television show ever.
