Feelin the need to make a Blazer appreciation post, I can't remember the last time I talked about it here. Miss this truck with my whole heart. Photos circa 2008, and 2026. Poor thing is "abandoned" in my backyard with a blown transfer case. I have the replacement unit. I just need to do it.
Some fuckin motorcycle will come into your life. It is imperative that you buy it and ride tf out of it. Happy motorcycle day.
The front seat has a swiveling lock box base, and some bs aftermarket stereo put in it. Other than that, it's an original survivor. A fine unit.
My mom bought a 2001 Eurovan Westfalia yesterday. It has 160,000 mi and full service papers. New engine and transmission by VW less than 50k ago. And I'm still scared of this thing. But it's still cool
The Civic is fine he's just a little tired. (Beatings will continue until morale improves)
I do this for ME. My work sketchy. Threw away the service manual and took the mf apart. Fuck around and find out on a hooptie. For the love of the game. You shouldn't trust me on a oil change anyway.
These are my fav pics from last weekend and three of them are at the same water crossing even though we covered 20mi lol
Throwing my hat in the #FursuitFriday ring while I pack and head out of town for another adventure like this one
You kinda sign up for this charade on these older cars. This is a $40 marketplace transmission that I'm practicing on. I haven't taken the car itself apart yet. This trans is a great bucket of spare parts that I look forward to cannibalizing.
Bummed about the Baja Bug transmission - to be fair, I originally planned on getting into one of these around 2027. Sooo the fact that I got one this quickly, and I'm already ripping it and breaking it, is pretty cool.
The gambler civic is rock solid but she's the summer daily so I don't wanna kill it.
It's offroading season and all three of my offroad toys have transmission problems. Help meeee.
