Ha. Well I based this of an image from someone I follow on threats. This was the reference photo. Quite different than what I painted.

Wondering Star - I’ve come back to this one repeatedly over the last few days because I just wasn’t happy with it. Sky was to blue, not enough contract, needs more texture, want to simplify the markings etc. but it’s now finished I believe. Sorry for reposting.

Definitely my feelings for today. Like just massage my scalp and let me fall asleep in your arms. Tomorrow will be a new day, today was a wash of self doubt and old feelings.

Decided to double the charity contribution on both my new charity prints from 25% to 50% of the proceeds. Thank you all so much for the help. That means we’re at about 800 dollars for the New Mexico Gay Rodeo Association and 1300 dollars for the Transgender Resource Center of NM.

This is how most of my paintings start. A digital sketch. Most the time I don’t even color it in, it’s just shadows and composition. Everything shifts and changes once painted . Most of my references are from open call photoshoots of local couples. The gender is irrelevant, I change it at will.

Due to a shipping mishap this original 18x24” acrylic on canvas painting is back on my shop and available.
