Finished my first #Reacher novel. Not sure if it was my experience of the show influencing the read, but I absolutely saw Alan Ritchson in every Reacher moment. A good hook of an opening, a strong ending and horrible villain, even if it took far too long to get to the truth of what was happening.

When I was 13, I embarked on an epic #fantasy story called Ellerigan Quest. I still have the notebooks with this story. By Uni, I had rewritten Ellerigan Quest into three books of a planned five book saga. By 20, I had some interest from agents, but then it all dried up ..

Finished The Tyranny of Faith by @richardswanauthor.bsky.social. Utterly compelling narrative and characters. I enjoyed The Justice of Kings, but this took it up to another level. A crime investigation / political thriller with dark magic; one of the best #fantasy books I've read in recent years
