yes! but upon further examination I *think* there might be room for a curtain rod to be attached to the underneath side of the board if i use a bracket like this. i asked my mom if I could get some plain linen curtains and she said, "can you get a swatch of the fabric?" & "it won't make a statement"

thought of you when I got my insomnia cookies order, this is the text and pic they sent me

delivery text from insomnia cookies saying "success! warm, delicious and delivered courtesy of insomnia cookies" blah blah blah but the Pic is of a box of hopefully warm cookies... on a chair on my back porch. there is a random bag of like sand or potting soil sharing the chair with the cookies. above that is a fucken sign telling delivery people to please leave all deliveries at the FRONT porch. which is not this one. also my delivery instructions (not shown) said "please drive up the driveway" and "hand it to me". I guess leaving it on the back porch was just as good! lol sigh hahaaa

update:

the window scene from the previous post, but now i have hung the window over the top half of the sash. the frame has been painted high gloss black. curtains are gone, as is the curtain rod and the black board it was screwed into the wall on. you can see my baby crystal chandelier in front of the window and part of the tub surround to the left. the color scheme is hot yellow, black, white and blue and white tiles.

for #ThingThursday, here's a stained glass piece i bought at a recent estate sale. it has no age to speak of, but it's really pretty and in good shape and it matches my bathroom really well! I'm gonna paint the frame black so it matches the window trim better, remove the curtain and hang it higher.

tried to do magenta but stupid existing colors way too dark for it to show up so I had to paint over whole thing w/ lavender in hopes that next time I can do a magenta layer. then made background orange, that way even if I fuck up orchid itself at least will look like the whole thing is on fire #art
