Each year, we provide people from Calgary and surrounding areas with expert and compassionate care for the wildlife that live in our communities and wild spaces. We treat and rehabilitate animals so they are ready to return to the wild and release them.
From Jan-July 2026, our hotline responded to 6,565 calls—a 15% increase from Jan-July 2025! Our hotline is often the first step in helping wildlife. Every situation is different & every call helps ensure wildlife receives the most appropriate care. When in doubt, call our hotline at 403-214-1312.

We’re at capacity for skunks Pls avoid live trapping adult skunks during baby season (May-Aug). If you find kits alone, leave them—mom is likely foraging. Pro tip: Skunks have poor eyesight so can spray if startled- don't leave pets alone at night & make noise in areas with 🦨
