Bought these eggs at my local farmers market ($6) and they are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

A dozen eggs in a clear plastic carrier. The eggs are variegated, some white, some plain brown, other others speckled. There is a golden one and one that is a very pale green. On the carrier is a label that says curmudgeon Farms and has a picture of a grumpy man.

Had to veer around this family on my morning walk.

Got my cousin here, so I am scarce this week, but here are the yellow tulips that started out my day.

Picked us up at the library because it looked interesting, then got home to realize I’d read a review copy already. I recommend this one if you like fantasy, I thought it was really well done.
