60 years & one day ago a tourist boat, the Prince of Wales sailed from Barmouth & hit a bridge. it sank quickly and 15 of the 43 passengers including 4 children perished and the quick thinking of a local hotelier saved lives. . I had not heard of this disaster but yesterday a memorial was installed
