Seeing as how the only horse I can draw is a stick horse (example pictured), I did my best front-facing version
"Hill Top Farm, Winter" by Maxfield Parrish I saw it as a print first, or maybe a textbook?, and the BLUE of the sky just took my breath. When I lived in Boston, I discovered the winter sky really can be that color. And I got to see it in person at the MFA, just as stunning as the winter sky.

This plant is grown from a cutting from my grandfather's, which was a cutting from his grandmother's. It is, in a way, over a hundred years old.
