The next comic page shows more enemies appearing. While Varren fights of two opponents Asger is going through his options in this unfortunate encounter.

This last comic page reveals Asgers plan to fake his death and get rid of Varren this way. But before he could put it to action, Varren already took out his agressor as well, saving his life but taking away his chance at freedom.
