Hello, Emily! Congratulations on 15,000! Thank you for the art share! Today I'm sharing some of my "mostly darkness" drawings.

Spooky stands in a large dark space, holding a lantern. In front of Spooky a large pipe has one end bolted to the floor, and the other end is lost in the darkness above. There are a few smaller pipes branching from the big pipe, which bend and disappear into the floor. Far overhead, other pipes branch off the big pipe and bend upwards, disappearing into the darkness. There is a similarly structure twenty paces off in the background to Spooky's left side.

This picture shows Spooky in a dungeon with his lantern. The lantern lights up a circle on the wall and floor. There is a doorway in front of him.

Hi, lex! Thank you for the art share! I'll share my "Exploration in Blue" set today!

Titled "Exploration in Blue," this piece is set in a dungeon with walls, floor, and ceiling made out of square stone blocks of different sizes. Cyberpumpkin stands 2/3 of the hallway's height. He holds a torch up that creates a circle of light.

Cyberpumpkin's young companion, Rad, stands in front of him, looking at the carvings on the wall. Rad wears overalls, boots, and a magic helmet shaped like a radish.

On the wall are two pillars with carvings like hieroglyphics. Between the pillars is a smooth area (a door?) with a big winged scarab filling the upper half, and more hieroglyphics in the lower half.

This piece was executed in blue ballpoint pen on the front of a white folder.
This piece is dated 05-06-2001.

This picture follows after "Exploration in Blue." It shows Pumpy and Rad standing on a walkway between doorways on opposite sides of a deep square vertical shaft. Round drains with bars over them are scattered around the walls of the shaft, with trickles of water running out. Pumpy holds a torch that creates a circle of light around himself and Rad.

This is a follow-up to "Exploration in Blue," also done in blue ballpoint pen. The picture is set in a tall curved chamber with stairways leading up the wall to arched entries with torches on the wall next to them. Cyberpumpkin's left hand is anchored to the wall on the inside of the curve and is swinging down from a doorway on a chain, with his trowel-shaped sword in his right hand.

2020 vs 2026! #artsky

This is an outdoor scene on Pumpy's farm. The background features a white-painted fence on three sides. There is a sheep looking curiously through the fence.

Near the top is a paper cutout of a shed for farm equipment. To the left are a couple of paper cutouts of trees with tall grass around their bases. The middle of the background is taken up by a big square dirt field with neat trenches for planting.

In the foreground is a paper cutout of Pumpy using a hoe to finish a trench. Nearer to the viewer is a paper cutout of a brown and white beagle just hanging out on the farm.

This is an outdoor picture. Pumpy and Spooky stand in an area of dirt with a white-painted fence separating the dirt from a grassy area. In front of them are some chickens and 12 little chicks! Pumpy and Spooky are holding buckets of chicken feed, and Pumpy is scattering little yellow kernels for the chickens to eat. Squirrelly sits on the fence nibbling a kernel of chicken feed.

This is a crossover with Invader Zim and my character, Pumpy. Zim stands at a control panel with a tablet in one hand. Pumpy hangs suspended in tank full of green light. Pipes run from place to place around the laboratory and large curved monitors hang from the walls. In one corner is a pile of pumpkins. Gir stands near them, holding a half-eaten pumpkin in one hand.

I never buy games. Heck, I rarely play games because I'm too busy scrolling, which is embarrassing to admit. But I was curious what PlayStation would be selling at 75% off, so I looked and found Unicorn Overlord for $18. It's taking hours to download because my router hates my PS4.

This picture shows several Mega Man characters as kids standing together near a wall. The kids are giggling as they toss bombs back over the wall, creating an absolute disaster for the enemy machines there!

From left to right, the kids are: Rock Volnutt, Eddie (carrying infinite little green bombs), Zero from Mega Man X, the original Mega Man, Proto Man, and Roll. The things getting blown up include a Prop-Top, a Blocky, a Met, and Mecha Dragon.

Rokuhoudou Yotsui Biyori is an iyashikei anime we watched on Crunchyroll. It is peaceful and low-stakes and features four friends who run an older-style tea house (they have lattes too) with food and traditional Japanese sweets. I recommend it! #CyberpumpkinMedia2026

It may be possible for some person to do that, but I don't need it bad enough. The last time I ran Minecraft, I used creative mode to draw a section of dungeon that I traced and (eventually) made into this:

The walls and floor of this mysterious dungeon area are brown stone blocks, some carved with cryptic glyphs. There are four magic lanterns lighting up the walls. A tall door opens into a darkened hallway. The door frame is made of big yellow stone blocks, carved with many symbols. Spooky has just come to the bottom of a staircase leading into the room and is pausing to check his trusty dungeon map.

This piece originally featured Link from Wind Waker, but someone asked why I don't put my own character in there, since the dungeon is all my design. So now it features an adventuresome Spooky!

I created the "bones" of this drawing by building the room in Minecraft creative mode out of high-contrast blocks, then tracing the grids and filling them in with my own stone blocks of different sizes. I made up the glyphs on the fly and there is no code or pattern. Similarly, there is nothing symbolic in the door-frame carvings except the person on the left and the spook on the right.

This piece was begun in February 2022, and finished May 20, 2026.
