It's hard not to come away from Labour London Conference feeling optimistic. A weekend full of ideas and conversations with Londoners who care deeply about making the greatest city in the world even better. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else. ❤️🌹
It's a Happy Monday! Congratulations, Prime Minister @andyburnham.bsky.social We will work together to earn the trust of the British people and give them hope. 🌹
Great to join @skynewsrss.bsky.social this morning to discuss what to expect from an @andyburnham.bsky.social premiership. A laser focus on tackling the cost of living, a clear plan for delivering change and a Labour Party united around improving people's lives. The future is looking bright. 🌹
Congratulations to @andyburnham.bsky.social on becoming Leader of the Labour Party. 🌹 I know Andy will lead with ambition, optimism & hope. I can't wait to join him in reshaping our party and delivering the real change people want and deserve. Let's get to work.
Time for another #ButlerBoosts. 💛 A few of the many kind messages I've received recently. Thank you for your encouragement, your solidarity and your support. It means more than you know. Good people will always be louder than hate. ✊🏾
The boys didn't bring it home... but don't let that ruin your weekend. 💔 There's still plenty to smile about in London. Climb your way through a free climbing festival or join a free community bike ride. Here's your guide to the best FREE things to do in London this weekend.
It was a pleasure to spend the evening with the brilliant young people from Patchwork. The future of our democracy depends on young people from every background stepping forward. I hope our discussion encouraged the next generation to keep asking questions!
The BBC & BAFTA made a terrible mistake. I wanted to bring two marginalised groups together. It was a privilege to host a screening of I Swear in Parliament, with Tourette’s campaigners, the brilliant director Kirk Jones and Freddie Flintoff! Turning controversy into conversation and understanding.
Pleased to host a Parliamentary Roundtable joined by Protect Nurse campaign & stakeholders. The Govt's decision to adopt my Bill was a major step forward, but the job isn't finished. We need legislation to protect the title of nurse under @andyburnham.bsky.social. It's vital for patient safety.
Unreal from Bellingham! He’s a superstar. They found a way to win in difficult circumstances and thats what matters. 2 more games!
Labour needs a leader who can win AND inspire. That's why I nominated @andyburnham.bsky.social yesterday. Andy brings the optimism, fresh energy and bold leadership our country needs. I know he'll deliver for London, the North, the South, and for every corner of the UK.
I never wanted to join Black Women Rising, now I can't imagine a world without them. Thank you to the incredible Leanne Pero for creating a community that lifts women up when they need it most. After all I've been through, I know just how life-changing that support can be.
One-size-fits-all rarely works. The people making decisions should understand the communities those decisions affect. That's why I support greater devolution for London, so we can tackle inequality and make sure everyone has a stake in our city's success.
I'm sure @andyburnham.bsky.social would make a fantastic Prime Minister. His vision for devolving more powers to our capital would be a huge boost for the greatest city in the world. London deserves the tools to shape its own future and he has my full support.
I never thought decorating a cake could make me so nostalgic. The last time I did this was in my dad's bakery, so spending time at Cake Inn brought back wonderful memories. If you're in Willesden, it's worth a visit! 🎂
I'm back on @itvx.com tonight with for The Late Debate. Tune in from 10:45pm...we've got plenty to talk about!
30 years of Asda's Tickled Pink. 💗 Three decades of helping to fund vital research and support everyone affected by breast cancer. Thanks also to Coppa Feel and Breast Cancer Now for the incredible work you do every day.
Not on our watch. ✊ A huge victory for our community as plans for a new gambling shop on Walm Lane have been rejected. Thank you to everyone who spoke up, especially Cllrs George Burn and Saqlain Choudry. People power works. Now let's end Aim to Permit.
A pleasure to host my good friend @sadiqkhanlondon.bsky.social's Summer Reception in Parliament yesterday. Celebrating what Parliament and City Hall can achieve together for Londoners. Here's to many more years of partnership. 🌹 Great to see Mo Farah there too!
Had the best time at Pride 2026! 🌈 Surrounded by so much love and positivity in a world that can so often feel overwhelmed by division and hate. We'll keep marching next year and every year after that, until everyone can live freely, safely and proudly as themselves. ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
💙Happy 78th Birthday to the NHS! 💙 Thank you for saving my life when I had cancer. Founded by Labour. Saved in 1997 by Labour. Modernised in 2026 by Labour.
The TRUTH about churches in London. Dawn Butler VS right wing grifter @wsebag.bsky.social
If anyone ever asks why trade unions matter, look to Grunwick. Fifty years on, the courage of the Grunwick women reminds us that trade unions are the aspirational vehicle of the working class. I explore their legacy in @thefabians.bsky.social
It's Pride weekend! 🏳️🌈 Whether you're celebrating at #PrideInLondon, Wembley Pride or one of the many other events taking place, I hope you have a fantastic time. And if you're not at Pride, there's still plenty to enjoy! From barrel racing to circus acts, all for free!
The towering Mary Seacole statue reminds us of the resilience of a woman who persevered racism to care and heal. The first statue of a named Black woman in the UK, looking at Parliament. Thank you to everyone who made it a reality and to our nurses, whose compassion inspires us every day.
Proud to join inspiring Labour MPs and trade union leaders from @tuc.org.uk, @gmb.org.uk, @unison.org.uk, @usdawunion.bsky.social and @labourunionsuk.bsky.social. Celebrating 100 years of the Trade Union Group of Labour MPs and the passing of the Employment Rights Act 2025.
This was hard to write, I miss her so much. My dear friend Kanya King leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren plus the phenomenal MOBO Awards. Kanya transformed British music and opened doors for generations of Black artists. My piece in The Voice.
Nobody should ever be subjected to abusive conversion practices because of who they are. Proud to see Labour publish a draft Bill delivering on our manifesto commitment for a trans-inclusive ban. Thank you @oliviabailey.bsky.social for building on the work of others.
Fantastic news for Brent! Two locations have secured funding from @sadiqkhanlondon.bsky.social’s Summer Streets Fund. Residents will see more alfresco dining and events on Wembley High Road, Ealing Road and Kingsbury + outdoor seating and cultural performance sessions near Willesden Green tube.
