Dallas Woodhouse, former executive director of the NC Republican Party and “election liaison” to the State Auditor, has officially resigned. This follows troubling findings of election interference, with county boards claiming Woodhouse was strong-arming them to vote a certain way on voting plans.
County boards of elections have been meeting to discuss early voting plans. At the same time, Dallas Woodhouse, a now reassigned “election liaison” for the State Auditor’s office, was found to be strong arming board members to vote “no” on plans that help student and rural communities. #ncpol

BREAKING 🚨 The North Carolina House has passed SB 257 aka the State Budget. It now heads to the Senate for a final vote before heading to Governor Josh Stein’s desk. The Governor then has 10 days to either sign the bill, allow the bill to become law without his signature, or veto it.
