Quixotic. Through and through. All opinions are my own, not my employers. Because I have a soul and corporations do not. quixotic_doug on some meta shit. digdoug in a lot of places.
tee-hee. I got an apology from the product person that created this nightmare for me 6 weeks ago... Including a screenshot of a completely different conversation where I yelled about the false promises, and the multi paragraph explanation of how time and physics are actual constraints.
I hate it here. (the modern world, not this particular workplace, but, yeah... capitalism)
3 years ago I passed the BrimleyLine, and when announcing it a bunch of people wished me a happy birthday. I think the internet might've been a mistake.
I’ve been staring at this, this closely, for a lot longer than this video. I think they’re trying too hard to tell me something.
This is before the trazadone. (And the road trip to the country she’s on now. I stayed home, Michelle took Osti to her brother’s pad. It will be much less warzoney there)
15 years ago I was staying at a fancy hotel in Chicago. My stepfather had died a few weeks prior and I was just deep in my head. This moment shifted something in me. I still struggle with the words for it, I’m sitting here, teary-eyed, thinking of time and humanity. Of shared moments and Love.
There really should be a way to opt out of participating in modern capitalism.
Sometimes you realize life doesn’t always adhere to the golden ratio. Sometimes you’re pretty sure God was playing with the sliders when he created sight hounds.
Someone in a huge group chat at work, asks for speed translation clarification, because AI told her 1000MBS = 1 gig a day. 2 people respond with AI generated answers, one extremely wrong, one half answered. So I chime in:
We don’t usually see each other‘s headers. Here’s mine. (Quote post with yours, if you want to and if I’m not so late you haven’t already…)
Alright. I have finished my “screenless” Sunday morning. Saving the last 2 chapters of The Book-Makers until next weekend. I did repost some stuff during the 3 different times I waited with the dog in the backyard. Unbroken chill time for -others- is Osti’s nemesis.
