For Tanine and Argus, I think it's a mutual lesson of "it's okay to be sad/cry (aka being humans)". I even have a planned drawing about this! 😆 In lore, society tends to outcast they and label as "monsters" or "living weapons" (especially outside of Brakmar), so they found comfort on each other.
